with all the talk of puking on the site lately, i wonder if many of us don't have spiritual eating disorders.... after all, many posters say things like "i'm puking in my mouth" while reading a pro-jw poster.. perhaps some have to really spiritually puke after attending a jw meeting to get the wt influence out.. so are you a spiritual bulimic?

or do you just get that spiritual nausea when you see anything jw related?.

I think thats it for me, especially seeing how JW parents/siblings/family etc treat those that have left, that leaves me feeling sick, wondering where the "natural affection" is.

much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
Nice sunny day here today, and I took off from work early. Did some gardening this aft - it's nice to get back in the yard again after the long snowy winter we had.
Nequila had her tumor removed on Tuesday, along with a couple of teeth both on the top and the bottom. She's doing better already, which is great news!

lol @ casper - you poor thing! I can' just imagine you spilling the paint, because that is something I'd do too! lol
Started back at my other job today, and while it was nice catching up with my other co workers, I have to admit I was bored! lol At this job I don't deal with any customers/clients, and I do miss that interaction, you never know who is going to walk through the doors, and being downtown, we get some "colourful" people in lol.
Tomorrow I take the dog in to get her tumor debulked again. I hope this will give her some relief - I think theres a bit of an infection in the tissue and have started her on antibiotics.

ok, my baby brother wants me to come to his graduation ceremony.
from what my mom said, he really wants me there.
here's the situation so far.... i know my aunt/uncle/and cousins, along with my parents and half of my old kh that i grew up with will be there.
hhhmmm, that's a tough one. Is there any way you an go, but not sit near the family? Can you ask him to just take a few min either before or after the graduation ceremony to spend with just you and him?
there are always so many bad memories related here i thought it might be nice to change it up a bit.

This was before a bookstudy. It was just my gran and I and another older sister there at the time. It was winter and this older sister had taken off her hat and coat and sat down. I noticed her hair looked kind of strange, it was all pinned down close to her head. She was sitting there talking to my gran and reflectively put her hand to her head. Then both hands flew up and she was patting her head and she had a startled look on her face! She whipped out a wig from her bag and planted it on her head LOL LOL.

Beautiful dogwood Casper! I love flowers, any kind, I'm not partial lol.
It's overcast and threatening to rain today. It rained last night too. Once it stopped I took the dogs for a walk, this was after 11pm. I love how fresh the air is after a rain. I inhaled deeply last night! It seemed to have warmed after the rain, it was cold and damp earlier and I lit a small fire in the woodstove to take the chill off. I love sitting by a crackling fire, watching the flames. The only thing I don't like about going out after a rain is the worms. They were all over the sidewalk!! ewwwww ewwwww ewwwww, I tried to avoid stepping on them, good thing it was so late - I'm sure I looked pretty funny dodging the worms lol.
Today is cleaning day. I thought I'd have some time off to catch up on all the little things I'd been putting off, but nope, back to the grindstone on Monday! lol So, I guess it's a good thing it's not so nice out today, I'm stuck inside - might as well make the most of it lol.
